Let’s go for a drive on SR 1.

While in California, we wanted to enjoy the view of the Pacific Ocean. From Carmel we went  south towards of Big Sur on the road called Cabrillo HWY.  The highway is famous for running along some of the most beautiful coastlines in the USA, leading to its designation as an All-American Road. A National Scenic Byway is a road recognized by the United States Department of Transportation  for one of the six “intrinsic qualities”: archeological, cultural, historic, natural, recreational, and/or scenic. We were not planning to spend time in Big Sur  but  we  bought nice treats and started driving back to Carmel. The idea  to go for a drive was simple, I wanted  to take more photographs. This is what this post is all about . We know that  pictures can  say more than words: the feeling goes through what I captured to  what  you feel when you look at it ! We stopped many time to get closer to the water , look at the flowers , enjoy the scenery and go for  hike . We had our pic-nick  looking at the ocean. It was a great after-noon on a  nice sunny day.

You can dream of anything while standing in front of the ocean.

What a beautiful beach.

I hope you enjoyed some of my photographs taken  that day.
